One of my favorite things about fruit desserts is that I don’t have to feel guilty about eating them because the fruit is healthy, right?
Of course, it can be less nutritious when you add sugar, flour, chocolate, fresh whip, icing, cake mix, pastry crust, and all those other delicious things, but let’s pretend otherwise.

However, in
all seriousness, fruit desserts are some of most people’s favorites, especially in the summer
.
They are usually lighter, fresher and less filling than other desserts
.
Most of them also have an excellent balance of flavors between sweetness, acidity and acidity.
And often, they really are less fatty and bad for you than purely decadent desserts.
It doesn’t matter why you like them. If fruit desserts are your thing, you’ve come to the right place.
Cherry Yum Yum Cake” />1. Cherry
Yum Yum Cherry
yum
yum is the perfect blend of cheesecake and cherry cake
. It is twice the
delight, twice the sweetness and twice the yam. I like to think that’s how it got its name.
The rind is rich, crunchy and full of nutty goodness, and the filling is slightly sweet but has a lot of sour acidity that every cheesecake and cherry lover will love.
It only takes about 30 minutes to assemble, but plan ahead because you need to cool in the fridge for at least 4 hours before serving.
2
. Fresh fruit pies I think
people often avoid making fresh cakes because they are so beautiful that everyone assumes they are incredibly difficult
to make.
That couldn’t be further from the truth.
You can make three of these delicious pies in less than 25 minutes with just five ingredients (not including your fresh fruit toppings).
They are light, sweet sugary, and you can top them with any of your favorite fruits and berries.
Plus, they’re pretty enough to liven up any brunch table
. 3. Strawberry
Oatmeal Bars Strawberry oatmeal
bars
have crispy oat/butter toppings and are soft and chewy inside
.
They’re packed with vibrant strawberry flavor, and you can top them with an optional vanilla icing if you’re even more into sweets
.
Best of all, each square has less than 100 calories, so you can really eat them guilt-free.

4. Punch
cake
I’m not sure why they don’t call punch cake “layers of delicious cake.”
That would describe this smooth, airy, fluffy dessert much better
.
Each layer gets better and better. There is yellow cake at the bottom, topped with vanilla pudding, bananas, crushed pineapples, filled with cherry and coconut cake.
Once you top it off with a layer of smooth, silky whipped cream and some chopped walnuts for texture, you’ll have something that’s so close to being downright heavenly.

. Fruit pizza cookies Most of
us have heard of fruit pizzas, but these are fruit pizzas in the form of miniature cookies
.
They are absolutely adorable and perfect for parties and other individual events
.
Between the soft, buttery cookie, fluffy whipped cream glaze, and all your favorite fruits and berries, it will be hard to decide which part of this cookie you like best
.
6. Fruit dessert
pizza
Of course, if you prefer to make a full-size fruit pizza, go for it!
This recipe will help you make one that is delicious and nutritious in 25 minutes.
Thanks to all the red, white and blue, it’s also great for Independence Day and other patriotic holidays!

7
. Bisquick strawberry cake Bisquick strawberry shortcakes are
another single-serving snack that will be a hit at any gathering
.
They have all the flavor of a traditional strawberry cake, but thanks to Bisquick, they’re quick and easy to make, and everyone at the party can have their own miniature “cookie cake.”
These are one of my favorite desserts for brunch because they perfectly combine breakfast with dessert
.
8. Trifle Fruit Salad
At first glance, this may look like
nothing more than a giant bowl of fruit.
However, it’s actually a giant bowl of fruit with a ton of whipped creamy topping added!
Seriously, there’s nothing easier, tastier, or healthier than fruit salad
.
9. Lemon Parfaits
If you
like desserts that are more sour and spicy than purely sweet, you’ll love these fruit-filled lemon parfaits
.
There’s no cooking involved, and you can make them in 20 minutes or less
.
All you’ll need is lemon cake filling, Cool Whip, cream-filled biscuits, sliced strawberries and blueberries
.
That should tell you everything you need to know about how tasty they are
.
10. Bake
hot fruits with spices
Most of the time, fruit desserts are light, fresh, and summery, but this hot fruit-flavored baking is an exception
.
It is rich, warm, abundant and ideal for autumn. It features all your fall favorites, including baked cinnamon apples, nutmeg, blueberries, maple syrup, walnuts and more.
It takes a little time to bake, but only 10 minutes to prepare.
Once the delicious aromas of cinnamon, apples, nutmeg, and maple fill your home, you won’t mind the hour-long cooking time.

11. Banana
cake
This supremely moist and padded cake is simple, light and full of banana goodness
.
It’s 100% proof that things don’t have to look fancy to taste great.
Of all the desserts on this list, this may seem like the easiest, but in terms of taste, it’s one of my three favorite cakes of all time.

12. Pineapple Dream
Cake Pineapple Dream
Cake is another
unpretentious cake brimming with tropical fruity flavor
.
I put this one right after the banana cake because they both remind me of each other
.
Both are easy to make, lightweight, fluffy, and incredibly moist, and both are often overlooked in favor of more exciting and complex desserts
.
And that’s a shame because biting into any of the cakes is like enjoying a little piece of heaven.
The only question you should ask yourself is whether you want a tropical pineapple heaven or a super sweet banana heaven.
13. Angel Fruit Dessert
You can make half a dozen or more of these tasty little treats in just 15 minutes, and all you’ll need are strawberries, cool Whip, and
angel bread.
Once you have them, it’s just a matter of mixing the bread and fresh whip, putting it in a dessert cup and covering it with strawberries
.
14. Summer Fruit Galette
This sweet, tart cake has a delicious fruit filling and a warm, flaky crust
.
As the recipe says, it’s a simpler version of a mixed fruit cake, and it’s exceptionally good
.
It is easy to make, requires basic baking ingredients and fruit. You can have it ready in 35 minutes.

15. Peach Shoemaker with Cake Mix
Ask anyone south of the Mason-Dixon line what the best summer dessert is, and at least half of them (or more) will say peach shoemaker
.
When you can prepare it simply using
cake mix, it’s even better.
Doing it this way eliminates a lot of time and work and reduces the ingredient list to four things: cake mix, peaches, butter and cinnamon.
Even so, it has the same warm and rich taste that makes the peach shoemaker so unbeatable. Serve topped with vanilla ice cream for exquisiteness.

16. Strawberry cheesecake lasagna
This strawberry-filled dessert has a lot to do. It’s halfway between strawberry trifle and cheesecake, but you’ll make it layered like lasagna!
It is light, fresh, full of sour strawberry sweetness and takes less than 30 minutes to make. It doesn’t get any more impressive than that.
17. Gourmet strawberries covered in
chocolate
It seems crazy that one of our most beloved “treats” is so simple to make
.
There is nothing special about strawberries dipped in melted chocolate, yet they consistently sit at the top of many people’s “favorite desserts” lists
.
That’s why, despite their simplicity, I couldn’t leave them off the list
.

18. Trisha Yearwood Key Lime Cake
The ingredient list for this cake is
long, but don’t let it scare you; It’s actually quite simple to prepare, although it takes a bit of time
.
However, if you love lime pie, you’ll go crazy for this version of cake.
It’s fluffier and spicier, and the lime glaze and cream cheese icing are phenomenal.
19. Cherry Clafoutis
If
you’ve never tried one before, clafoutis is like a custard full of fruits with crunchier edges. This particular clafoutis
features tons of black cherries for a sweet, sour and totally unforgettable taste
.
If cherries aren’t your thing, you can use almost any fruit you like. The trick to making the perfect clafoutis is not to bake it too much.
Baking it too long turns the pastry-like consistency into something harder and less creamy
.
It will still taste good, but you will lose the texture that makes it unique
.
Apple Brown Betty” />
20
. Apple Brown Betty
If Apple Brown Betty isn’t dropped in a bowl, then nothing is
.
Packed with tasty sour apples, cinnamon, sugar, and ground nutmeg, this dessert smells as fantastic as it tastes
.
It’s sweet, crunchy, and perfectly crumbly, and with or without vanilla ice cream and caramel syrup, it’s sure to please the crowd
.
21. Caramel
and apple pie
Speaking of autumn treats, caramel apple pie is similar to Apple Brown Betty, but it’s
so much more.
It takes about 10 minutes longer to make, and puts a much heavier focus on the
candy.
So if you’re the type of person who looks forward to caramel-covered apples every year, this is the fall gift for you.
22. 2-Ingredient
Watermelon Ice Cream
I’m predisposed to love anything with the words “two ingredients” or “5 minutes” in the
name, and this two-ingredient watermelon ice cream is no exception. If you can
cut and freeze pieces of watermelon and mix them with coconut milk in a food processor, you can enjoy this watermelon ice cream practically all summer
.
23. Kiwi slices
dipped in chocolate
These are like chocolate-covered strawberries; Only you’ll make them with frozen kiwi slices instead
.
It gives you the same rich, chocolaty goodness, but kiwis add a unique tropical flavor
.

24. Lemon Sour Cream Cake Lemon sour
cream cake is lemon cake for
people who don’t like lemon cake (and for those who do!). It’s dense, fluffy and sweeter than you imagine.
The only lemon it contains is in the frosting, so it’s not overwhelmingly spicy or sour
. People I
know who are not particularly fond of lemon desserts still enjoy this cake because lemon is so light, and people who love lemoncake will like it too
.
25. Cheesecake
with banana pudding
Everything you need to know about this sweet is there
in the name.
It’s basically banana pudding on a vanilla wafer crust and with a little cream cheese filling mixed in
.
It’s incredibly light and airy, and the filling is silky smooth and full of banana flavor.
The topping of whipped cream, banana slices and vanilla wafers are not strictly necessary, but they make it even better.

26. Split
banana cake
With a buttery graham cookie crust, a cream cheese filling, powdered sugar, bananas, pineapples, whipped cream, maraschino cherries and peanuts on top, this is really a cake-shaped split banana.
The only thing missing is the ice cream and chocolate sauce, but the cake tastes so good that you won’t even miss them.
And if you do, you can always add them to the top!
27. Chocolate
cherry brownies
There is a downside to these chocolate cherry brownies. Once you’ve tried them, simple brownies will never be good enough again.
These brownies are supremely sticky and full of sour and tart cherries and tarbs
.
One bite is all it takes to get hooked. As soon as the juicy sweetness hits your tongue, you will ask for more
.
28. Blueberry Cake Bars
These beautiful purple bars have all the flavor and texture of blueberry pie, but without the hassle of homemade cake crusts.
They are soft, tender and full of delicious blueberries and cranberry juice. In addition, they look fantastic and will help brighten up any table.
29. Raspberry
crumble bars aren’t as moist and soft as blueberry pie bars, but they’re just as delicious
.
And if you prefer crunchy desserts to soft desserts, you might like them even more
.
The only downside to these is that they take a little time to make, cook, and cool, so be sure to plan ahead if you want to serve them for a particular event.
“Hot and moist rhubarb cake with ice cream” />
30.
Despite
what you may think, the sweetness of strawberry jelly and yellow cake blend perfectly complements the slight citrus acidity of rhubarb
.
If you are an inexperienced baker, you will especially love this cake because it is one of the easiest you can make.
There is not even agitation or mixing involved!
It requires only six ingredients and is ready in less than an hour. It’s one of the simplest desserts you’ll ever make.
